WISCONSIN STATE AFL-CIO ENDORSES TOM PALZEWICZ FOR CONGRESS
Brookfield, WI — Tom Palzewicz, candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Wisconsin’s 5th district, today announced the endorsement of the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO.
“Tom will be a steadfast supporter of America’s workforce and will oppose any attempts to weaken our country’s labor protection laws,” said Phil Neuenfeldt, President of the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO. “Tom’s background as a Navy veteran and small business owner gives him a unique chance to bridge the partisan divide and bring responsible leadership back to the 5th congressional district.”
“I know that Tom will stand up for Wisconsin’s working families and work every day to protect American unions and the advances we have made for all of the workforce,” said Stephanie Bloomingdale, Secretary-Treasurer of the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO. “The Wisconsin State AFL-CIO is proud to endorse Tom and we look forward to working with him as he campaigns to make business work for everyone, especially America’s workers.”
“My Brother is a Special Education public school teacher,” said Palzewicz. “He’s seen first-hand the effects that union-busting laws like Act 10 and Right to Work have in lowering wages and reducing benefits for our hard-working teachers and workers across the state. One of my top priorities in Congress will be restoring our unions and their right to bargain for the betterment of all of us.
“I’m honored to have the endorsement of the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO and pledge to continue working to ensure that every American has a path to achieve their American Dream,” said Palzewicz.
