Phone Bank to Fund the Government, Fix the Healthcare Crisis, Put Working People First

Our federal government has been shut down for over four weeks. Instead of finding common ground with Democrats on a bill to fund critical government services, Trump allies in Congress want to use this opportunity to end tax credits that make healthcare more affordable for millions of Americans. They are also insisting on keeping in place Trump’s cuts to Medicaid, which provides essential healthcare services to our seniors, disabled and low-income people.
Since day one, the Trump administration’s Project 2025 Agenda has targeted our health care and our federal workers who provide essential services. The stalemate over the budget is being used as a pretext to slash our federal workforce and undermine the Affordable Care Act. Congressional Republicans need to put the American people before the dangerous Trump agenda and end the government shutdown now.

Every day the Trump shutdown drags on is a disaster for our country. Nearly 750,000 federal workers have been locked out, put on leave or forced to work without pay. The services they provide are on hold. Without a funding agreement, nearly 180 million Americans are facing a ruinous spike in their health care costs. It’s time to end this irresponsible stalemate.
We’re organizing to make our message heard: Fund the government. Fix the health care crisis. Put working people first.
Join our phone bank on Wednesday, November 5, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm as we make calls to Congress to end the shutdown. RSVP today.
