Gov. Evers' 2025-2027 Budget Unveiled

On February 18, Governor Evers delivered his 2025-2027 Budget Address at the Wisconsin State Capitol before the State Assembly and Senate. Watch the full address here.
Following the 2025-2027 Budget Address, Wisconsin AFL-CIO President Stephanie Bloomingdale released the following statement in strong support of Governor's Evers' Budget:
"Governor Evers has presented an inspiring 2025-2027 Budget proposal for the state of Wisconsin that continues to prioritize economic opportunity and prosperity for working families. Included in Governor Evers’ Budget are initiatives to support hardworking parents, lower costs for families, grow jobs with needed infrastructure upgrades and repairs, invest in neighborhood schools and technical colleges, and get lead out of our schools, homes and childcare centers, all while supporting union workers across our state.
Instead of playing partisan politics, it’s time for lawmakers to come together to pass Governor Evers' Budget. This budget truly reflects the needs and values of Wisconsinites, moves our state forward, lowers costs for families, and lays the foundation for good jobs, strong economic growth and economic prosperity for all."
Immediately after Governor Evers address, his proposed Biennial Budget will be introduced as an identical bill in the State Assembly and Senate. The Wisconsin 2025-27 Biennial State Budget will be the most important bill considered this Legislative Session, impacting our families, our jobs, and our communities. After it is introduced and given a bill number, it will be assigned to the Legislature’s powerful Joint Finance Committee.
The Wisconsin State AFL-CIO will continue to closely monitor all matters of the State Budget as they relate to Wisconsin’s working families and keep you updated throughout the Budget process.
