Get ready for Wisconsin’s 2026 Spring Election

  • Election Day is Tuesday, April 7
  • On the ballot is a Supreme Court seat and many local races
  • Early voting has begun and continues until April 5
  • Union-endorsed candidates and volunteer schedule below

Wisconsin union members are getting ready to vote in this year’s Spring Election on Tuesday, April 7. On the ballot is an important statewide race for Wisconsin Supreme Court. Wisconsin Supreme Court Justices rule on a range of pertinent issues that impact our safety, wages, and rights at work.

The Wisconsin AFL-CIO is proud to endorse Judge Chris Taylor for Wisconsin Supreme Court. Judge Taylor supports collective bargaining and opposed union-busting legislation like Act 10. Her opponent, Maria Lazar, worked in Scott Walker’s administration.

Early Vote: In-person absentee voting is underway and continues until April 5 in some areas. Early vote hours and locations are set by your local community. Check with your municipal clerk’s office for early vote times and locations in your area.

View union-approved candidates: Local Labor Councils have made endorsements in local races around the state. View a list of local union-approved candidates in your area.

Volunteer:  Join our people-powered voter education and mobilization program to help get out the vote in the spring election. We will be hosting phone banks and canvasses between now and Election Day. Phone banks, canvassing, and virtual phone banks are available daily by contacting Jeremiah Patton at jpatton@wisaflcio.orgView our current volunteer schedule here.
