The people of Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District have been without a representative in Congress for months. The Wisconsin AFL-CIO is supporting union member Tricia Zunker (SAG-AFTRA) for the special election on May 12. Zunker will represent all people and work to protect and advance the rights of workers.

Be prepared to vote early or absentee in this coronavirus public health emergency.

Request a ballot and vote by mail: Make your request online at myvote.wi.gov.

All registered voters can request an absentee ballot until 5:00 p.m. on May 7. You can request your ballot online at myvote.wi.gov (look for “Vote Absentee”) or by contacting your municipal clerk directly by mail, email, or fax.

In-person absentee voting will also be available until May 8. You can register to vote and vote early in-person at Wausau City Hall, Monday-Friday, 11am-1pm. Please check with your local municipal clerk for your area’s times and locations for early in-person voting.

Return your ballot: Your ballot must be received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Make sure you mail your ballot back in with plenty of time. You can also drop your ballot off at your polling location on Election Day or at a designated absentee ballot dropbox location.

Don’t wait, request your ballot at myvote.wi.gov and vote for Tricia Zunker!
