Women's Center Cookout

The Community Service Committee of the Waukesha County Labor Council, AFL-CIO is proud to announce the 2025 partnership with the Women’s Center in a Compassionate Community Cookout on Friday August 8, 2025.  The committee has agreed to coordinate the participation of the labor community in sponsoring a free picnic lunch for the families associated with the Women’s Center. 

To serve our 100 guests, 2 things will need to happen. First, the support of organized labor to assist with donations to help offset the cost.  Second, the request is for volunteers to attend that day from 11:30-2:30pm.    The Women’s Center is located at 505 N East Ave, Waukesha. 

We are requesting your financial donations.  Please make your charitable donation payable to: The Labor Community@Work (Women’s Center in memo line).  Checks can be mailed to 633 Hawley Road, Suite 110, Milwaukee, WI 53214.  Donations exceeding the cost of the event will be donated to The Women’s Center food program.
