Hunger is a crucial issue throughout Milwaukee and St. Ben's Community Meal Program confronts it head on, by serving community members a hot meal, six nights a year.

Yearly on the last Sunday in June, Labor Unions volunteer their time and resources to grill and serve a summer meal at St. Benedict the Moor.

We accept monetary donations to purchase brats, buns, condiments, side dishes like potato salad and coleslaw, beverages, and desserts.

On the day of the cookout, we need 25-30 volunteers to cook the food, serve food to members of the community, refill beverages, and clean up afterwards. St. Ben's is a great opportunity to serve the community with your kids, friends, or union family- all while building solidarity.
