Support Our Team May 6: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer!
The Milwaukee Area Labor Council invites you and your members or organization would join us on our team, “Solidarity for TaTas,” in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Saturday, May 6th at Veteran’s Park in Milwaukee.
We’ll walk together so no one has to walk alone.
In order to make registration easy, we’ll do it for you. Just send an email to jay@milwaukeelabor.org or call 414-771-7070 and join our team. It’s easy. Registering for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is a way of doing our part to help free the world from the pain and suffering of breast cancer. Plus, I think we’ll have fun doing this together.
If you are pre-registered with us, the walk begins at 10:00 a.m. We are wearing yellow Solidarity T-shirts with pink bandanas. The cost is $5.00 if you’d like to purchase one. If you’d like to purchase the Making Strides Breast Cancer t-shirt, it is available for purchase at Veteran’s park for $12.00.
Even if you can’t walk with us, please consider supporting “Solidarity for TaTas” with a donation to help us reach our fundraising goal. A gift of just $50 could make it possible for the American Cancer Society’s Road To Recovery® program to provide five rides to or from treatment for a cancer patient. If that doesn’t sound like an important program to you, imagine what it means to a woman who can’t get to treatment otherwise. It could literally help save her life.
