Stand with ATU 998! Sign the Petition!

Employees should not face retaliation when their employer does not take action to protect them from workplace injury or illness!

On April 22nd, National Express operating the MCTS paratransit program, fired ATU Local 998 members Ms. Taresar Cooper and Mr. Tyrone McShan.

Mr. Tyrone McShan shared videos with his union explaining that he was using cleaning supplies he purchased personally to clean the van and avoid occupational exposure to COVID-19 , and expressing his hope that drivers and patients can remain safe given unavoidably close contact between them. Ms. Taresar Cooper did nothing more than forward those videos.

This is unacceptable. Sign the petition TODAY to stand with frontline transit workers and demand that National Express reinstate Taresar Cooper and Tyrone McShan to their former position with no time lost (pay, seniority, etc)!
