As you can see, we still needed a lot more socks to fill up our bin after Laborfest:

As of the beginning of October 2016, we have collected over 400 socks; thank you! However, 300 pairs have already been claimed by MPS for children who need them in these chilly and wet early fall weeks. So we are now down to only 100 pairs!

There is a vast need for socks in our community! Did you hear about what we  all did together last year, on our first #LaborSockDrive #LaborofLove?

Union brothers and sisters, supporters and friends of labor, in 2015 (last year) you all AMAZED US  with your GENEROSITY — with a final count of 2700 pairs of new socks for those in need!!  Read about it as featured by United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County: Milwaukee Record Labor Sock Drive Secures 2,000 Pairs.Thank you for making our first labor Sock Drive a MAJOR SUCCESS as the LARGEST SOCK DRIVE IN WISCONSIN.

Now LET'S DO IT AGAIN in 2016! You — or someone you love — might need a nice, warm, new pair of socks yourself some day. Won't it be nice to know how good you made someone feel?
