Say "Bye" to Mike Balistriere as He Retires in March

Come by and raise a glass with Mike before he's out the door!

Responsible for helping organize a multitude of community-improving activities such as the St. Ben's Meal for the Homeless BBQ; Support Veterans and AFGE Workers: Fix the Veterans Administration!; the Veterans and Union Workers Deliver a Letter to Sen. Ron Johnson and so many others, Mike never hesitated to lend a hand to help both his union, homeless, and veteran brothers and sisters.

A USMC veteran of the Vietnam War, Mike has worked at the Milwaukee Area Labor Council helping folks as an AFL-CIO Labor Community Service Liaison for about two decades. Connecting charities in need and local union members, Mike has carried the torch high in our partnership with United Way and the community.

Thank you, Mike, for your dedication and spirit, and your many years of service to labor and those who need help in the community. There are truly not many like you...one in a million.
