The Women of Steel are made up of women (and some men) Steelworkers from all the locals in a region. They are a force to be reckoned with. They stand up in the workplace- for family supporting wages, benefits, and safety standards. They stand up in the community- for the health, safety, wellbeing, and economic stability of all people. The Women of Steel are always working on a service project. You can find them at Workers Memorial Day, the Bay View Massacre commemoration, serving a meal at St. Ben's, collecting socks, or taking the Polar Plunge for charity.

This past year, they hosted a diaper drive in the month of November for the United Way of Greater Milwaukee. We are so thrilled to report that the Women of Steel Diaper Drive collected 7,927 diapers and 11,668 wipes for a retail value of $3,370.59- that’s a lot of happy babies! We could go on forever highlighting the Women of Steel, but they're on the move and it's tough to keep up!
