Mother Jones, 1837-1930 (Mary Harris Jones)

Mother Jones, a massive woman known by the force she brought to the American Labor Movement. One of the most amazing things about her is that she was an idealist; she didn’t gain knowledge from an education facility. Sister Jones would go on to be the voice, fight and tenacity behind both men and women in the movement.

Mother Jones wasn’t the advocate found to run away from a challenge; but within the challenge would fight and gain movement from her supporting union brothers and sisters. Always ready to appear in a time of need; she would eventually learn how to reach the hearts of employers that others could not.
