IUPAT District Council 7- Our Future

IUPAT is at the forefront of helping pass the Pro-Act and much needed Immigration Reform. If you are doing the work we want you in our union. In 2019 at our General Convention our Union passed a resolution to have 20% Women in our Trades by the year 2024. IUPAT DC7 is very proud that by percentage we have the most women within the building trades.

Over the next 10 years, we are hoping that more people see value in union labor. We hope to continue to organize the unorganized and prepare our membership for whatever the next challenges are.

While we are optimistic of where we’ll be in 10 years,  we still face the raiding of members and jobs by other Unions.  

Despite that, we are proud of the work IUPAT members and staff have done from electing members to the halls of Congress to helping those who need it achieve a career with great wages, healthcare and the ability to retire with dignity.
