2021 Christmas with the Vets

On December 24, 2021 the “34th Annual Christmas with the Vets” will take place and like everything else this year, it will look different from years past.  However, we still plan to bring a little holiday spirit and cheer to those veterans who will spend the Holiday Season apart from family and friends.

The contributions collected will go to purchase personal hygiene items, winter clothes, board games, books, and food. Each veteran will also receive a token amount of cash to purchase personal items at the hospital. Most importantly, we also provide money to the hospital to supplement the activities budget and give domiciled veterans the opportunity to participate in events outside the hospital. These activities allow veterans to enjoy day trips away from the hospital and give them a break from their daily routine, which is a real morale booster.

Every year, money needs to be raised to support this event and in 2021 we are trying to raise $20,000. This will be a challenge as all fund-raising events have been canceled and why we are depending on your generosity more than ever. On behalf of those who sacrificed so much for our country we ask you to please consider donating to “Christmas with the Vets.” All donations appreciated by Friday, December 10, 2021.
