Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans is a voice for retirees and older Americans. Our goal is to educate, energize and mobilize Wisconsin seniors to make a difference through activism. 

The School for Workers is the labor education department of the University of Wisconsin-Extension, Continuing Education, Outreach & E-Learning. Our mission is to educate workers and others about issues of concern in the workplace.

In today's world there is no such thing as a "permanent" job. Companies are continuously downsizing, merging, reorganizing and transforming.  Unfortunately this means worker dislocation.

Wisconsin Regional Training Partnership/BIG STEP :  A non-profit public interest organization devoted to family-sustaining jobs in the greater Milwaukee area.

Union members have been fighting attacks on worker rights and protections on many fronts. These are not random, unconnected attacks. They are the result of a coordinated strategy by a corporate-funded ideological movement that aims to eventually destroy the labor movement. Other progressive movements have seen hard won gains attacked and eroded as well.

Center on Wisconsin Strategy (COWS) is a national policy center and field laboratory for high-road economic development — a competitive market economy of shared prosperity, environmental sustainability, and capable democratic government.

The Institute for Wisconsin’s Future (IWF) is a non-profit, non-partisan statewide organization dedicated to tax policy research, community organizing and education policy. IWF believes in maintaining strong, effective and efficient public institutions.

Wisconsin Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (WisCOSH)  WisCOSH is the largest, independant, worker-based organization in Wisconsin that makes worker safety and health top priority.  WisCOSH is an independent organization that works closely with the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO, labor unions, businesses, individual workers, and other occupational safety and health groups across North America.

The Wisconsin Women's Network -- a nonprofit coalition of organizations and individuals that advances the status of women.

Union Sportsmen's Alliance  The goal of the USA is to create an outdoor hunting and fishing club exclusively for union members and their families with the purpose of actively engaging union sportsmen and women in the ongoing fight to create a better future for hunting and fishing while helping to create their own outdoor community that will extend union member benefits beyond the workplace, into the woods and onto the water.
